Goth Witches is a black comedy tabletop roleplaying game inspired by the 1996 film The Craft. In Goth Witches the player characters struggle with highschool bullshit, serve a Goddess, and usually make poor decisions.

Features:

  • A simple rules-lite system inspired by old D6 and PDQ games that mixes old-school design with modern narrative sensibilities.
  • Mechanics relating to magic, mental resilience, girl power, and manifestations.
  • Detailed guides designed to help GMs run the game and design their own scenarios.
  • One full adventure included, designed to last one or two sessions.

Goth Witches is currently in development and will eventually be sold at a higher price when it is finished. The v0.60 PDF available for purchase right now has everything a GM and players would need to run a game. More info on things that will eventually be included in the game can be found in the devlogs.

NOTES ON CONTENT: Goth Witches is intended for an adult audience. The game has a black comedy tone, and the player characters are generally going to be bad people doing bad things, not necessarily to other bad people. The GM and players can avoid sexual situations, but if the players choose Lilith as the Goddess they worship the game can move into areas some may find uncomfortable. The included adventure Loser Nerd involves forced feminization.

Hi.

While I haven't played the game yet, I would appreciate this page's background to be static, please?

I was planning on doing a new dice render that moves slower, and also is more evenly lit so that it isn't as distracting. Would that help?

Thank you very much. They look good now. Not sure if moving slower would be better.
